Cardboard Recycling
Turning your paper into profit.
Recovered paper is one of the most important raw materials for the UK paper and board industry, representing over 70% of the fibre used to manufacture paper and board in the UK since 2015. This equates to nearly eight million tonnes of paper and cardboard products being collected. Businesses have a large part to play in this and are now able to capitalise on this by receiving substantial rebates on bales of recycled paper and cardboard.
How can we help?
Baled / Loose Cardboard
Through our UK and overseas partners, CHC is able to offer top rebates for baled cardboard. We routinely recycle full loads of mill sized cardboard bales of over 20 tonne loads but can collect smaller loads dependant on your requirements.
Our expert team will be able to advise on the best methods of segregation to maximise revenue for your site, offering you a range of segregation containers and baling presses to ensure all your recycling requirements are met.
Following an assessment of your cardboard waste stream, CHC has the knowledge and resource to advise and implement a waste recovery process allowing you to maximise revenue for your business. Our assessment covers the grade of material produced, quantity generated per week, storage space on site, resource to load waste compaction equipment and overall benefit financially to the business.
Loose Cardboard
For organisations that do not have storage space for baled cardboard, we offer various sized containers / skips to store loose cardboard that can then be removed on a schedule or on an ad hoc basis. Additionally CHC is able to offer a waste compactor depending on your requirements to enable you to compact the cardboard, cutting transport costs, increasing tonnage per collection and improves site’s carbon footprint.
Paper
Our remit also covers various grades of paper such as mixed papers, sorted office paper, newspaper and promotional magazines to name but a few. If you have significant volumes, we are able to offer various waste reduction equipment to assist in achieving maximum rebates. Collections can be made either as individual or mixed loads dependant on quantity. If volumes are low, we offer a range of waste collection containers that can then be emptied when required or on a schedule.
CHC offers an array of waste compaction units with fitted paper extraction units for print or manufacturing clientele.
